01 · Snorkel

Turtle Canyon
Snorkel Trip

A morning sail to Turtle Canyon, Waikiki's most pristine coral reef. Our PADI-certified snorkel guides get you comfortable in the water and point out what you'd otherwise swim past — honu, tako (octopus), vana (sea urchin), and the reef fish in between. Afterwards we hoist the sails around Diamond Head, looking for spinner dolphins and, in winter, humpback whales.

Check in & boarding

No harbor, no shuttle

Most Oahu boat tours run out of Kewalo Basin Harbor, which means a shuttle from Waikiki and a wait on an industrial pier. We board straight off the sand, from the shoreline between Fort DeRussy and the Royal Hawaiian.

Check in at the Outrigger Reef Waikiki Beach Resort, 2169 Kālia Road. From there it is a 5 to 10 minute walk — 0.3 miles at most — down to the boarding point, and the crew walks you the whole way. The exact stretch of beach shifts with the tides so we can board you safely, so it will not always be directly outside the hotel. Bring footwear you can slip on and off.

Travelling with anyone who has mobility concerns or walks at a slower pace? Get in touch before or after booking and we will make arrangements. Groups of 16 or more, please contact us to book.
